The inside of the church makes a completely different impression than the austere oustside, because of the abundance of glass the church is flooded with light, and since there is no supporting beams or columns it looks quite roomy.
The picture was taken during the Kult(o)urnacht 2011 (night of the open museums), where the resurrection church was taking part for the first time, to introduce itself to a larger public. Quite right so, since this building does not need to hide itself behind the other churches in Speyer, it also gives out new impulses.
