On the Schulplaetzel (little school place) between Karmeliter- and Rossmarktstrasse stands the unicorn fountain. Originally this was a bronze statue by Gernot Rumpf which was aquired by the town of Speyer. It was later that the idea came up to transorm it into a fountain. This fountain is a popular meeting place for the youth, which unfortunately can be seen by the debris surrounding it.
